Education:
Esposito’s family moved frequently during his childhood, so he attended multiple schools in different countries. However, he ultimately settled in New York City and attended the High School of Performing Arts, where he studied acting. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Elizabeth Seton College in Yonkers, New York, where he continued his acting training.
Career:
Esposito began his acting career at the age of eight, performing in a Broadway production of Maggie Flynn. However, it wasn’t until the 1980s that he began to gain recognition for his work. In 1982, he appeared in the film Taps, starring alongside Tom Cruise and Sean Penn. He also had a recurring role on the hit television series Miami Vice.
Esposito’s breakthrough role came in 1989, when he played the character of Buggin’ Out in Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing.
