Hank Azaria was born to a Sephardic Jewish family in Queens, New York, on April 25, 1964. His parents, Ruth and Albert Azaria, were both immigrants from Thessaloniki, Greece. Azaria grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, and attended The Kew-Forest School, where he discovered his love for acting and performing.
After high school, Azaria attended Tufts University, where he majored in drama. It was during his time at Tufts that Azaria honed his skills as an actor and began performing in various stage productions. He graduated from Tufts in 1985 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Career Beginnings
